Tharoiseau was fortified from 1537, sections of walls still exist in the form of vestiges. The parish was created between October 28, 1668 and April 17, 1669. At the apse of the church, an imposing construction, an open-air washhouse, is protected by a roof on two of its sides. It is completed on the facade by a succession of three basins which served as a watering trough. On the right side, the fountain included in the pile was used to supply water to local residents. This structure is supplied by the spring located on the church square.
