The Catholic parishioners of the village have never had a place of worship. They must go to the services of the church of Stundwiller.
After its destruction in 1945, a temporary barracks was built in Oberroedern and consecrated on September 22, 1945. It contained the small bell of the town hall-school, withdrawn from the Nazi raid.
In 1962-1963, the current building was built with the war damage money reserved for Stundwiller, part of which was retroceded for this purpose.
