Wathermal Village and Chapel

Superb little village with old buildings, old-fashioned charm as I like.
The site of the chapel and the pond is just remarkable and breathtakingly beautiful.
Situated on a rocky outcrop, the White Chapel is surrounded by a small cemetery and a shale wall.

ℹ️ Facing the pond, the place is ideal for a stopover to eat.
Indeed, on the other side of the road, at the foot of the chapel, there is a public barbecue.
Comfortable and convivial for a moment with friends, which I also had the opportunity to test during an evening with about thirty people, I can confirm that the location is really at the top. The important thing is to respect the tranquility of the villagers, do not forget this.

Also known for its trout festival, Wathermal is already mentioned in the 9th century as a royal villa.
