Marked on OS as a permissive path, this is a beautiful tucked away old lane that when approached from the south is a rather dicey descent over pretty big rocks (probably more suited to MTB, but take it slow and you should be good on all but a road bike). Coming at this from the north would make this southern section a very difficult climb, so be warned.

At the bottom of the descent is a beautiful little ford. The more observant of you will probably spot the bridge. Those of you like me will wade across getting both feet wet, and _then_ notice the bridge.

The climb up to the north entrance is a much more forgiving wide dirt track with a bit of traction to help you up!
