The area of Valmenera, near the hut of the same name, has a rather degraded herbaceous vegetation, given by the exploitation in the form of mowing and grazing. The hut itself is surrounded by 74 hectares of green meadows used for grazing their livestock. Up here, through the Campon valley, a tongue of the ancient and vast Piave glacier reached it.
