According to the historian Father Daniele, it is a building from the 1700s, it served as a lookout tower and in the following century it was instead inhabited by some nuns.
The building develops on two levels, the first raised with live rock and the second, in more recent times, using tuff. The lower floor consists of two rooms with a vaulted ceiling, separated by a wall: one of them has the appearance of what could have been a chapel.
