Schloss Seehaus

Markt Nordheim is a market in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia. Markt Nordheim is a member of the Uffenheim administrative association. The market is located on the southern foothills of the Steigerwald. The watershed runs through the municipal area between the Gollach, which flows west to the Tauber, and the Ehebach that arises at the village of Herbolzheim and flows eastwards to the Aisch. The Geroldsbach or Gerlesbach rises west of the main town, flows through it and drains into the Ehebach via the Kleine Ehe. and the Schloss Seehaus

schloss-seehaus.deCastle Seehaus was built in the 16th century at the present place under George Ludwig von Seinsheim. It was first mentioned in documents around 1300 and was then in the middle of a large pond on an island and was also called "Haussm y See".After the castle was burned out by the Swedes, it was in 1655 to the Counts of Schwarzenberg, who rebuilt it. The current state of construction dates back to the year 1780. A typically Baroque three-winged complex designed to serve administrative purposes.
