Building roads in these mountain regions is a daunting task. But even when the roads are finished, it remains a risk to drive them. Especially when it rains, the ground is slippery and it can happen that buses simply glide off the road. The road from Jomsom to Tatopani is therefore partially paved with stones, which looks very nice.
