Cabane Marcel Brunet – Mont Rogneux
The starting point of the tour over the east ridge of Mont Rogneux is the Cabane Brunet. The car park below the hut can be reached - slightly adventurously - by car via Lourtier in the Val d'Bagnes.
Mont Rogneux is part of the Combin group and is one of the easier 3,000m peaks in the Alps. At maximum visibility you have a view of 147 3,000m and 11 4,000m Swiss peaks*. Heading west towards the Mont Blanc massif and the French Alps.
