The Camí dels Monjos is a historical path that connects the old monasteries of Sant Cugat del Vallès and Sant Llorenç del Munt. It is currently signposted as a small PR-C 31 path

The legend says that the abbot and the monks of Sant Llorenç del Munt requested permission to the bishop of Barcelona to settle in another place, since their lands were not productive at all and the isolation of the monastery made them suffer evil of sadness The bishop allowed them to leave whenever they respected a mandate that walking without crossing any river, torrent or stream, would settle where better it was and this was what they used. For this reason, the path follows the ridge that separates the basin of the Besòs (east) of the Llobregat (west), or those of its tributaries, the Ripoll river and the Rubí stream, without crossing any course of water
