The ruins of the medieval fortification "Raubschloss Liebenstein" can still be seen with some imagination. If you do not have a look, just sit on the small wooden bench and enjoy the break - in a place that is hardly visited, because it is located about 500m away from the main path;)The best view you have, however, if you walk from the bank a few meters and front (with caution!) On the rocks: The Schwarzwassertal lies at one's feet, you can feel the wind and hear the birds - great!By the way, it is recommended to continue on the narrow Pionierweg;)

The Liebenstein robbery castle was a ruined castle on a rocky spur in the Schwarzwassertal near Pobershau. The spur castle was probably built in the 12th century and may have served as road protection. Until the 18th century the castle was still visible with the remains of a strong tower. Today this place simply serves as a resting place with a beautiful view of the Schwarzwassertal.

You can only guess the traces from the weir, but from here you have a great view of the Schwarzwassertal.
