The Ossuary, obtained from the base of the tower, includes a central crypt and two concentric galleries. The remains of 70 decorated with Military Valor are collected in the crypt and the body of the Italian Marshal Guglielmo Pecori Giraldi, who held the command of the 1st Army from 9 May 1916 until the victorious conclusion of the war, was buried there in 1952. in November 1918.

Hiking

It is one of four Great War ossuaries in the province of Vicenza, and is featured in the regional coat of arms: Pasubio, Cimone, Asiago, and Grappa.

Built in the 1920s on Bellavista Hill, dedicated to the fallen of World War I, it contains the remains of more than 5,000 soldiers. The ossuary below is impressive, with bones and skulls visible through small windows.

The exterior architecture is beautiful, and the interior frescoes that completely decorate the walls are exquisite. You can climb to the top.

The military shrine of Pasubio, also known as the Pasubio sacellum-ossuary or Pasubio ossuary, is a monument dedicated to the fallen of the First World War. It is located on the Bellavista hill overlooking Val Leogra, just below Mount Cornetto about 2 km from Pian delle Fugazze, connected to the pass itself by the branch of the former state road 46. An exciting and rich in history. Well worth a visit and you will not regret arriving at this Sacred place which commemorates our fallen soldiers in WW1 1915 - 1918.
