We really liked this historic old town. Cobblestones, old half-timbered houses, churches, monasteries, etc. are surrounded by the 2.5 km long, circular, almost completely preserved, 7m high city wall from 1300 with the many Wiekhäuser and the 4 gates.

Anyone can make the route around the city center. the wall is well maintained and with a bit of luck you can also meet deer. You can enter the city at various points - especially at the four gates and on the boulevard (the direct route to the market square).
