Reachable via a toll road, the Tuva hut serves as an ideal starting point for multi-day hikes (highly recommended: 3 days in the triangle from Tuva - Heinseter - Fagerheim - an Tuva). This accommodation is similar to the DNT full-board hostels, except that they are privately run and may be slightly cheaper than those offered by the DNT mountain stations. Here, too, full board (breakfast and dinner) is offered in addition to accommodation.
A road leads to this accommodation, so there is also parking available for starting and ending tours.
This accommodation is also accessible from the towns of Ustaoset and Geilo.
