The Massif des Mont Caroux, which rises to an altitude of 1091 m in the Haut Languedoc Natural Park, offers wonderful distant views. Between the gorges (Gorges) d'Héric in the west and the Gorges de Colombières in the east, a very varied section of the GR7 long-distance hiking trail runs high above the valley of the Orb River.
