The Vordere Umbaltörl is a gap at almost 3000m on the border between South Tyrol and Austria or between the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park and the Hohe Tauern National Park. It is accessible by well-marked trails and connects the Italian Wind Valley with the Austrian Umbaltal.
