From Crenshaw Blvd, the trail and views drop steeply down Altamira Creek Canyon into Filiorum and Portuguese Bend Reserves, all the way down to the sea. The head-high sea of yellow flowers is most impressive in March, but some other flowers are blossoming at this overlook along Crenshaw year-round, and the views are stunning anytime.
