Road cycling
The cycle path which connects La Guérinière and the village of Noirmoutier on the island follows the main road (the D948, the same which crosses the Gois) and is not really pleasant, especially since it is sometimes necessary to hail or ring to slalom between cyclists in rhythm of walk, sometimes in family, especially in high season. Due to the long geography of the island, it is however an almost obligatory passage.
Here is an alternative route which follows the small roads through the marshes. It might be a little longer, but it's so much more fun.
