Unfortunately, the path is not passable today (end of May). The bridge is still there, but the path behind it is impassable for about 500 meters due to the ongoing snow melting and is flooded to a depth of more than one meter in parts. What a pity.

There is a small wooden bridge just behind the Gargia Lodge and from there a signposted, root-filled and rocky path leads through a forest area that is particularly beautiful in September due to the autumn colours. After about 2 km you reach the waterfall. The Orvvošjohka falls down over a wide, smooth rock and stands out from the usual, narrower waterfalls.
