Malga Budui Cheese Farm

Malga Budui (1218 m) is a mountain hut complex located in the locality of the same name in the municipality of Miane, at the end of the long Madean climb (Via Bosco del Madean).The hut is currently managed by the Curto family for the summer pasture (from June to September) and the direct processing of the milk produced. The Curto family has been breeding Brown cows for generations and transforming their milk into traditional cheeses: Montasio DOP from mountain pastures (the only producer in the whole of Veneto for this quality branded type), morlacco, caciottine, tenerone, Monte Cesen, mezzano from malga, fresh ricotta, robiola.Since 2010 the business center has been located at the Historic Dairy of Miane, completely restored as the main office, sales and tasting.

Beautiful malga that can be easily reached by car and from where you can continue to the Posa Puner refuge and from here continue towards the various peaks and mountain pastures of the Veneto foothills.
The panorama is magnificent and on clear days it ranges as far as the Venetian lagoon.
