Since old times, Priekulė was developing near the most important Klaipėda region road Klaipėda - Šilutė - Tilžė. The Priekulė Kammerherr Palace, located here, is mentioned in 1664. The location was chosen not accidentally: it is very convenient to control the subject territory. In 1723 after the abolition of kammerrherr posts, the palace and land passed to Priekulė parish. It is interesting, that nearby there are the survived lords‘ cemetery.
Hint: “Memel wine” is a small boutique winery. Here is made exceptional quality, handcrafted, limited edition wine. The aim is only one using manual labor and local raw materials to make highest quality wine, which we can be proud of themselves, and to be evaluated by other people.
The Winery is located between Priekulė and Dreverna, surrounded by beautiful nature.
