In 1863 the old church was demolished and rebuilt at its current location. The cemetery was also moved there. The chapel, which still exists today, was built to the west of the old church. Some tombstones still bear witness to the old cemetery. Excavations were carried out from 2011, the original brick pavement was exposed and can now be viewed through two peep windows sunk into the ground. The outline of the old church is now marked by a hedge.
