The small settlement is private; please pass with consideration. Across the large meadow, keep left to reach a fairly challenging section of the trail, difficult to follow due to the scree and often quite wet. Accompanying a dog involves considerable risk, even if the dog, like my Collie, is sure-footed. The trail markers were updated slightly in May 2022. If there are cattle in the pasture, dogs should NOT be crossed, even on a leash, for safety reasons.
