The Liesebach watermill was an overshot watermill in Räbke in the Helmstedt district that was powered by the Schunter mill ditch. From 1236 until it ceased operations in 1954, it worked primarily as a grain mill. Today, after restoration, the watermill is looked after by a local support association. It is located in a four-sided courtyard on the edge of the village, which has been a listed building ensemble since 1993. The mill is a station on the Lower Saxony Mill Road and is the only one remaining of eight former water mills in Räbke. (Source: de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wassermühle_Liesebach)
