The entrance to this disused railway line was not easy for me to find. You should stick to the two dilapidated houses (probably the old train station), which are a little higher. From there it goes straight ahead. Except for a few places it was very overgrown here at the beginning of September 21. The narrowest part of the path was about 40 cm wide, so wide enough for a hiker with a backpack😁.
From the moment you leave the lowered railway embankment, the typical Italian landscape with grapevines and olive trees reveals itself to you again. You then go higher up in the midst of numerous blackberry bushes to Barbarano Romano in wonderfully re-awakened nature.
