Kopicův statek is a unique half-timbered farm near the village of Kacanovy. A marked circular path leads from the farm through a sandstone valley with rock reliefs that were created between 1940 and 1978. In the open air, figures from Czech history and verses are carved into the rocks.

In the rocks below the Kopic farm, Jirošova rychta, the then owner and folk artist Vojtěch Kopic created a gallery with rock reliefs mainly from Czech history.

Vojtěch Kopic (1909-1978) moved to the Kopic farm in 1932.

From the 1940s until his death, i.e. for almost 40 years, he carved a series of reliefs into the sandstone rocks in the ravine below the farm, drawing his themes mainly from Czech history.

The first sculptures that Vojtěch Kopic began to carve here were Saint Wenceslas and President Masaryk. In addition to the figures, there are also animals here, such as the lion with glass eyes, which Kopic created after a visit to the zoo in Dvůr Králové.

As a true patriot, Vojtěch Kopic carved national motifs into the sandstones - Master Jan Hus, St. Wenceslas, Horymír and Šemík, Princess Libuše, Cyril and Methodius, Charles IV... In addition to national motifs, you can also find an organ, a folk cottage or Christ, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Anne and others.

After the war, they wanted to ban the gallery because it allegedly disfigured the rocks. For the anniversary of the National Theatre, he wanted to create a series of sculptures, but he only managed to create one - Libuše. Immediately after their completion, he died in 1978.

Most of the reliefs are accompanied by various folk wisdom, verses and quotes. Other amateur folk artists continued the work and created, for example, a very deep well dug entirely into the rock.
