On this section of the hike you can enjoy the view over the meadows of Miethsluch. The name goes back to the Münchehofer farmers Miethe. The term "lynx" comes from the Slavic and means marshy landscape or wet meadow.
Probably the gutter-like depression of the Mietsluchs is part of a glacial connection between Dahme and the Spree. Over time, sand dunes were blown over large parts of the channel by the wind. With a little luck, you can see crickets, whistles, spoonbills and golden-headed ducks here.
