A beautiful and technically easy and relatively short trail connecting the town of Vent with the parking lot under the Tiefenbachgletscher glacier. The route is designed for 5 hours and can be walked at a very leisurely pace in 4.5 hours. The textbook Ötztaler Höhenweg runs from under the glacier and after 10 km of almost continuous descent ends in Vent, but if you care about the condition of your knees, choose the opposite direction. After reaching the car park under the glacier, you can return to Sölden by bus number 8404 or continue towards Gaislachalm and from there climb the Gaislachkogel or go down to Zwieselstein.
