Hiking

Colden is a 1,598-foot (487 m) hill on the Isle of Man. The Colden plantation on its lower reaches mainly consists of Sitka Spruce and Japanese Larch. There were no clear paths on the middle section of the route up Colden during the height of summer. Walking poles were essential to negotiate the heather towards the summit.
