The Jakobuskirche on the 568 meter high Hohenberg near Ellwangen is a station on the Franconian-Swabian Way of St. James. The Hohenberg was settled from the Ellwangen monastery in the middle of the 12th century. From up here you have a wonderful view to the south-east of the pilgrimage church of Schönenberg near Ellwangen and to the north of Rosenberg.
