Great views from the bridge but very difficult to take the walkway with fully laden touring bikes due to the stairs getting to and off the walkway. If you can get away with riding across with the traffic instead and then walk back without the bikes to experience the views.

As Stephen mentioned; a bit tough with laden touring bikes.

We opted to just take the walkway and then carefully take the bikes down the stairs at the end. You could always take your panniers off momentarily.
