Dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of the Assumption, this sanctuary gave its name to the relief on which it is located. Over the centuries it was enlarged, but only in the 1950s and 1960s was a small monastery with a cloister built next to it, where Benedictine monks from the community of Praglia still reside.

Sanctuary in the north-western area of the Colli Eugenei, that of Monte della Madonna is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and is located between the towns of Rovolon and Teolo, on top of the second highest hill of all the Euganean reliefs. It depends on the abbey of Praglia and is very popular with devout people.
