Tips
From Calvi, take the D451. It is a beautiful and quiet back road. Just before Montemaggiore there are a few hairpin bends.
The D151 from Calvi to Calenzana is straight as an arrow and very busy. A stop in Calenzana is still worthwhile because of the biscuiterie (Sarl e Fritelle). From Calenzana, the D151 is again nice to drive on.translated by

I can only confirm... beautiful Balagne mountain village with a wonderful view of the bay of Calvi. The back road described by "DerImmel" is just fun to cycle back to Calvi. There was hardly any traffic up here (end of May). I would also prefer this road to the airport shuttle.
