Snowshoeing
Granberget is the highest peak in the province of Värmland. Their is a watchtower on top with spectacular views 360 degrees around. There are two options to get to the top:
1. Hiking the Nordvärmlandsleden. From Höljes it is about 12 kilometer to the top.
2. Driving with a car to a hiking trail close to the top. The drive is on a dirt road so winter conditions depend on the snow. 4wd and snow tires are recommended in winter. A normal car is good for summer.
