Tips

  • The Dechsendorfer Weiher - or as it is officially called: Großer Bischofsweiher - is the largest of about 60 ponds in the area. Since the 1920s, it is used as a recreational and swimming. In 1930 a bathing cooperative was founded, which still organizes the bathing business. The neighboring Kleine Bischofsweiher has been designated as a bird sanctuary since the 1970s.
When the weather is nice there is a lot going on, which should be considered.
