At the edge of the Hohes Moor there is a very well-maintained parking lot, which is best approached from the northeast via the Oldendorf settlement (unless you like gravel roads). There are strips of wildflowers at the edge of the parking lots and a new refuge was built here in 2021. The access to the Hohes Moor is directly on the opposite side of the street.
