Chapel of St. Apoleny is first mentioned in 1580 . Here is a source to which patients began traveling after reports of miraculous cures from eye diseases. The landowner, Count Georg Maximilian Lindelo, therefore had a church built here, which was consecrated in 1670. It was a prismatic building with a built-in tower on the south side. The interior was divided by corner chapels. [4]Well-attended fairs were held here on the Pentecost holidays. The church was looked after by two hermits. During the 19th century, the fame of the place decreased. From 1938 masses were celebrated in the open air, as the church was already in a desolate condition. Interior decorations were moved to nearby churches. [5] The settlement of St. Apolena was completely demolished, the settlement disappeared before 1960.
