They were, inter alia, to Gdańsk patricians, Polish nobles, and even to the Polish king Jan III Sobieski. During the interwar period, the borders of Kolibki were at the same time the border of Poland and the Free City of Gdańsk. With the start of World War II, the historic St. Józef, and after the end of hostilities, the manor house and the surrounding area were turned into a garden center. It was not until the nineties that the buildings in Kolibki, where the hippotherapy center was located, began to be restored.
