Arriving at the rock arch, you enter what was once a vast cave, whose "ceiling" collapsed in ancient times. The genesis of the arch is now clear: it is what is left of a wall of the cave itself, transformed following collapses and erosive processes. The whole area is full of cracks, rock shelters and large and small caves, carved out by various natural phenomena.
