Treekerweg

The Treekerweg is a larger forest/asphalt route through the forest. In many places this road has an asphalt part (beware of busy with cyclists) and a forest path (not over the entire route) as can be seen in the photos. This section of the road has elevation changes and rises as you run west. A mountain bike trail runs south of the road. CAUTION! : At Parking Bergzicht these roads all come together and cyclists and mountain bikes race pretty hard down the mountain so look around you. But an ideal road for long routes.

This road can be very busy (especially in good weather, of course) with other outdoor enthusiasts, including walkers, runners, touring cyclists, racing cyclists and close to a mountain bike route. Lots of variation in speed on a relatively narrow path. It is certainly a nice path to include in your training, but keep an eye out!
