Tips
Rheder Castle is a small castle complex on the Nethe in the Brakeler district of Rheder, district of Höxter. It emerged from a manor that was a fiefdom of the Principality of Paderborn. The complex is privately owned and is surrounded by eight hectares of English landscaped gardens. This has been designated as a nature reserve since 1949 and is open to the public.
