It starts out pretty bumpy in Gyöngyössolymos as the road is not very well maintained, or rather it is maintained to the usual Hungarian countryside standards.
Either way, the road smoothes out a bit when arriving in the city, and you can gradually turn up your pace. It is a relatively low traffic road with vans turning up rarely.
