The hedge garden of the castle in Hohenstadt is located a few steps north of the castle and is one of the oldest gardens of this type in Europe. A first mention is dated 1549. In 1756 a new system was built in the French style.

The castle garden is a very interesting garden. Between the bushes there are paths that are almost reminiscent of a maze. In the center of a beautiful fountain and the highlight is the Lusthaus and on the left a huge tree. I think, the two euro entry into the garden are justified. The whole thing must also be maintained.
