'Huize Lievensberg' was built in the mid-19th century, in 1846, by Johannes de Ram. The order for the construction of Landgoed Lievensberg was given by the De Ram family, who came from Belgium. The family lived in the country house until the early 1920s. After this, the country house was used for a long time by the Brothers of the Immaculate Conception as a rest home, later it became a crisis shelter for young people, among other things. During the construction of our luxury B&B, as many authentic elements as possible have been preserved or renovated in style (source: villaheidetuin.eu).
