The elephant stone is a rock formation

      Viewpoint at the Schölleshof

Before the path leads into the forest, on the edge of the plateau above the Schölleshof, beautiful view to the Swabian Alb with the Drei Kaiser mountains.

      Hollow stone and elephant

A fascinating sandstone grotto from the ceiling of a small stream rushes down. Below the hollow stone, a detour to the elephant, a large sandstone lump that looks like an elephant with a little imagination.

      Schiller cave

The cave sandstone here forms attractive, grotto-like overhangs. Friedrich Schiller lived in Lorch for several years during his childhood. In memory of him, the grotto was named after him.

      Bembemberlesstein

It is a large sandstone formation with numerous depressions. The name can be explained as follows: "bempere" means in old Swabian "knock, as with a small hammer" - perhaps a reference to the holes in the stone.

      Viewpoint over the Herbrechts

The field name "Herbrechts" is extremely rare or even unique in the Swabian Forest. From the hillside over the weekend house area offers a rewarding view over the Mühlebachtal and the Swabian Alb.
