Chiang Mai is one of Thailand's mountain bike hotspots. There is a lot going on here. You can easily rent a shuttle service and there are also guides who go with you on enduro tour or show you the local downhill trails.
Apropos: At the start of this you are here. There are several options of the "Hunters Escape" Lines, all of which lead down to Chiang Mai and have something for every requirement. Once at the bottom, it is not far to the city - connect the exit with a small Chiang Mai discovery tour.
