Hiking

Werbeliner See is a bird sanctuary and there are nature reserve signs in many places. That makes perfect sense because the lake has many elongated islands that are left over from the coal mining. There the birds have good conditions for their brood care. On the lake itself you can see large flocks of birds.

There are many beautiful views of the lake, the path to Schladitzer See is only suitable for hiking, also because one leads directly along the beach.
