The Scheppacher Chapel, located in the middle of the forest two kilometers east of the Gessertshauser district of Döpshofen, is a protected architectural monument.
The small prayer house is closely linked to the history of the hamlet of Scheppach, which was once located here. The Oberschönenfeld monastery had a chapel built there in 1601. Abbess Walburga Schüßler furnished the building with an image of Our Lady from the 15th century.
