The route entered by Ficuzza through the Vale S. Giorgio is without signs, without a recognizable path and passes through protected natural areas marked by fences. Boulders, thorn bushes and thistles everywhere. An extremely strenuous tour that took me 10 1/2 hours there and back. The climb from Alpe Cucco is much easier. It was my descent route. At the top, the view over the entire "continent" is unique.
