In the central part of Muránská planina, on a karst meadow called Studňa (1200 m above sea level), you will find the abyssal Ľadová jama cave. Thanks to the climatic conditions, the ice is kept on its bottom and in the summer, which is why it got its name. Above the abyss is a platform for a safe view of its bowels. The platform also includes an information panel, which provides basic information about the cave and plant and animal species living directly in its bowels and in its immediate vicinity.
